Frequently asked questions
The displayed price is per vial. The spreadsheet box price has been divided by 10 without changing its total: selecting 10 vials equals one full box.
The minimum is 10 vials, and every additional quantity must be a multiple of 10.
When available, the public English COA is linked to the selected specification. Internal self-inspection COAs remain private in the administration area.
This material is supplied strictly for laboratory and research use and is not intended for human or animal use.
RESEARCH & QUALITY DOCUMENTATION
Content updated · English reference edition
MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide described in research on cellular and organism-level metabolic regulation. Its scientific name refers to a mitochondrial open reading frame, rather than a general category of energy supplement. The original research and the product documentation answer different questions: one describes experimental biology, while the other identifies the research material being supplied.
Preclinical discovery — cellular work and mouse experiments
Lee and colleagues reported MOTS-c in Cell Metabolism in 2015. Their study linked the peptide to metabolic pathways in experimental systems and included mouse experiments. The observed responses in those systems are preclinical findings. They do not establish that a commercial MOTS-C product improves energy, longevity or metabolic health in people, and do not provide clinical safety or administration guidance.

MOTS-C and other mitochondrial-related research materials are not interchangeable. A shared research theme does not mean an identical sequence, target or experimental effect. Use the material identity required by the protocol and keep the peptide's reference literature separate from product-specific analytical records.
For MOTS-C, document the selected vial specification, SKU, supplied batch and any available identity and purity reports. Ask about storage and handling information for that material rather than borrowing conditions from a different peptide. A study's experimental preparation is not necessarily the same as the supplied catalogue preparation.
The original work describes a mitochondrial-derived signalling peptide and metabolic regulation. That origin does not imply that all mitochondrial peptides have the same function.
No. Species, model and experimental conditions affect interpretation. Preclinical findings do not prove a human benefit or establish a safe use for a research product.
Do not substitute materials solely because both appear in mitochondrial research. Confirm the exact compound and the intended experimental question before selecting a specification.
Sources describe the materials and conditions studied by their authors. They are not endorsements of LYSENTA or certificates for the products on this website.
Related does not mean interchangeable. Check composition and evidence separately.
